I just sold my Electra Townie. It was the bike that got me back into bike commuting, cruisers, and ultimately, Rat Rod Bikes.
It served its purpose for a few years, but I have moved on to newer... err... older bikes. Currently, I have four others in my stable. I think the Townie was more expensive than my three cheapest rats combined. And I can find replacement parts for the rats in the trash. Can't say that for the townie.
Now I'm gonna crack a beer and weep softly into my balled fist. Maybe I'll play "Changes" by Black Sabbath.
(sniff)
The funny part? My girlfriend is demanding that I invest the cash from the Townie into more bike tools. She's a keeper.
