Hello again, folks

I already asked about aging a metalic paint job, but what about aging chrome? How can I make it look more weathered?
Thanks,
nuts n' bolts

Make it "look" more weathered or MAKE it more weathered?

To MAKE it more weathered,I'd scuff it with coarse steel wool or emory cloth/sandpaper and spray it a coupla times a day with a salt water solution from a squirt bottle and leave it outside...

To LOOK weathered...I dunno...paint it randomly with Dull Clearcoat?

Rustoleum makes a Rust colored spraypaint too.

I found a quick and easy solution: I coated the entire bike in black shoe polish, especially heavy on the chrome. I gave it a minute or two to dry, then wiped it down with a rag. The result was a durable, dry, antique looking finish. The whole bike looks about 40 years older. The finish is totally touchable too.
