digging thru my can of skip tooth chains, I remembered that I had and proceeded to find some short pieces of brand spanking new skip tooth chain. There is no writing or anything to identify the maker, but I am pretty sure they are not NOS from 60 yrs ago. I think they have been made recently, like in the last 10-15 years. Anybody else found any of these or have any info on a recent chain being made?
Also-- in the chain manufacturing world, how easy would it be to re-make these chains?

I believe it was produced by Diamond Chain into the 90s. If I remember right, it wasn't exactly the same as the original, but it worked. As with most vintage bike parts, there just aren't enough of us to justify setting up tooling. Same goes for Carlisle Lightning Dart tires. The molds still exist, but the owners aren't interested in making new tires. -Adam

Go info, guys. It seems Diamond Chain Company ended up being Amsted Chain and no longer makes this chain. I do not have the tooling to make a chain, but if cc odem can make hubs out of a hunk of metal and somebody else makes those awesome springer front ends, it would stand to reason, somebody could do it. However, I would bet the price would have to be at $100 mark to not be donating.
