I had the "J" model kit already on a Columbia. In the back of my mind I really wanted it on something like this. When a friend asked me if I was interested in him bringing an all OG '48 B6 to my swap; I knew I needed it for the motor.

It was completely broken down in piece in the back of his car when he showed up. He said that it was barn fresh and that's how he found it. When I pieced it back together, I made sure it kept the barn fresh look. I added some doodads and bling to it and here is what she looks like now. I love how it looks like it was found yesterday but it runs like a champ!

That's quick work! It really looks cool.

Well, from about 6pm after the swap meet until 6pm yesterday, I was moving things over!

It helped that the B6 was already disassembled completely! Good thinking by the original owner to store it like that. I'm sure it sat for 50+ years in pieces.
