Alternative Shipping ?

I just wondered if anyone has actually shipped a bike by Greyhound I have heard about but never done, I often thought about talking to these Casino bus drivers that drive up from the SF bay area everyday if they would consider shipping, Has anyone found a source outside the norm for shipping ? that they would share for cheap.

I've shipped stuff Greyhound before. The only downfall is how close you or the person it's being sent to is from the closest Greyhound station. If they aren't that close then they have to make that drive to the station. But overall I never had any problems. It's nice for large items as I shipped a hood and a bumper for fairly cheap compared to having to do it freight or oversized through UPS or Fedex.

I have both shipped and received stuff with Greyhound. It is a good deal, if the other person is close enough to the bus station.
