The Chalkboard bike was a Tornado. This bike I threw together 2 years ago for our Patriotic Pub Pedal. This year I gave it a facelift, repainting it among other things.

Nobody knows the treasures stashed up in Randy's attic, its a mystery! :shock:
He keeps it under several layers of security at all times, first the fingerprint reader, then the retinal scanner, and finally the trusty K-Mart combination padlock. No one has ever been close to getting up there as I have, I was on the ladder one time... but in an instant I was quickly whisked away by two guys wearing black suits.
I dont remember too much after that :!:
I once heard about a guy that did get to see the famed attic stash, but he was never heard from again :?
Since I got too close... Im not even allowed on the property.
What I do know... Randy's attic is a wonderful place that obviously holds many many treasures that I hope to see one day. 8)

Or maybe it was all moved under the cover of darkness to a top secret location.
I said "sadly" earlier but really "gladly" is more appropriate. I enjoyed giving stuff away out of the attic to friends, neighbors and even people I didn't know to help them start or finish a bike project.

That time of year again. Drug the American down from the attic. Doing it up a little different this year. Red tires on alloy rims and a brand new Brooks saddle. Hmmm just dawned on me the Brooks not a good choice for this theme. Oh well it looks good and is comfy.
Not sure I'm digging the tin can lights. They may change tomorrow but I'm running out of time as tomorrow night is the Patriotic Pub Pedal.
I suppose I need to get a new American decal for the guard.
I guess I just now noticed Cameron's comment. No I never wrestled the BSA up in to the attic :lol:

I think I own the chalkboard bike... I WON it at the 2011 Mid West Bike Fest ... It had been nicely worked over by Udallcustombikes and friends.
And aka_Locojoe is getting real good at building those rat bike lights.

Very cool build!!!!(as far as the attic stash, rumor has it a Kansas bike collector bought a house built over a top secret underground missle base,but you know just rumors)OR ARE THEY!!
