Another Craigs List Question

Today, I listed a bike on CL, and it never did appear in "bicycles" or in any key word searches.

The link in the email that verified that it was posted took me to the listing, but that was the only way I could see it.

I don't think anyone else could see the ad, I never got any response, all day.

I don't think it ever got indexed in their system.

I kind of wasted a day, hanging around the house waiting for a response to the ad.

This ever happen to you?

Did you post it in a nearby city?

yeah, sometime when youre lookin in another city then go to post and think you switched to your city, it stays in the other city you were lookin at. its happened to me a few times

City was not the problem. I was not prowling before listing, and know that I was in the Dallas area because I had to select "mid-cities" which is closest to me.

I have noticed that the indexing can take as long as an hour on previous listings, most of the time, less.

One time, I got a call after 5 minutes, while I was posting up a second sale.
