Another shimano 3 spd hub

Stopped by a scrapyard today to see if they had any bikes I could save from the crusher. And there lays a womens fairway flyer with a complete working 3 speed. this all I wanted.

Its the one in the middle, not sure what model it is. this makes the 9th one I have, 4 are on bikes or rims and the rest have been rescued off junk bikes and range from poor to rideable.

Nice save! If I were to run across IGH's on bad condition bikes like you do I would save them all as well. Have you used any of the Shimano 333 hubs much? From what I've read online they can be problematic. The only older Shimano hub I have is a 3S. It's one of the 1980's models that came after the 333 hubs. It actually shifts smoother and it's quieter than my Nexus 3 hubs.
