I'm somewhat of a noob so bare with me please...

I want to buy the 24x2.125 cream tires from Chimi for my RRBO8 bike but I am not 100% sure they will fit.

The bike is a 60's 24" Hawthorne twin bar middle weight. I am pretty sure the tires will fit the rear but I am unsure on the front. Anyone have any luck fitting these?

If I have to modify the forks I will but is that ok for RRBO8 "Traditional"?

Thanks in advance for the help guys!

A 60's Hawthorne is probably Snyder (Rollfast) built, so the forks should be plenty wide enough. My late 60's 24" Hawthorne was a Murray though. If you have your bike already, it should be easy enough, where the tire rides in the fork should be wider than 2.5 inches. Unless your wheel isn't perfectly straight, then you'll need more room.

I'm guessing it is a Murray by the chainring...I will just widen the forks if I need to. If I could get a 24x1.75 in cream for the front I would be stoked. I have searched and haven't come across anything yet.
