Another Trike Project

Just what I need...another bike project. Well I couldn't pass this 24" trike up for $50. It's only a single speed but I've got a Sturmey 3 speed I think I'll throw in it with a big ol' shifter. I'm thinkin bent springer fork to get it down and give it a little longer wheel base. I think my biggest purchase is gonna be the 24"x3" Nirve white walls I want to put on all 3 corners. Maybe some nice wide cruiser bars and set the seat back. Might even move the BB forward about 6" for a little leg room. This will be a slow winter project but heres what I'm startin with.

a local guy had one of those electric hubs on the front of one of these. he comes zooming down the road on it. the 1st time i saw it i wondered how he was going so fast on a beast like that.

awsome score man ..id love 2 find me one of those i have a great idea in my head now i need the trike ...im prolly gonna end up buyin a new one at farm and fleet and choppin the hell out of it ...should be fun

Well, I decided against the whitewalls just for cost reasons so heres a bit of an update with a pair of 24 x 3 Kendas out back and one of those $4 Kenda 24 x 2.35s on the front. She looks pretty beefy now, but it really needs to be stretched.

Clearance? Very Little.

Gotta love being able to put a bike on axle stands :mrgreen:
