Anyone had any luck with finding a way to help preserve drying tires... i have a few sets that are not too far gone that have great tread left and i kinda like the look of rot starting.
Is there any product that will help the rubber out? Im not into SillyKone around me or anything i mess with..
Any tips?
Thanks.

I've heard a soak in olive oil will do some good, but never tried it.

Dude i live in the hood... we have neon green dyed oliv oil.. im scared to stain the white walls..
Oddly enough, I've been looking for some green wall tires.

I was going mention your last build.. that could be the result if the dye takes unevenly...
? if you mean last YEARS mbbo Cyclodelic, that was a borax dip paint job...
Carl.

sent from a crowded phonebooth...

Yeah i know, just that if my results did not dye evenly they may look trippy hippy and tie dyed... may have fit cyclodelic better than my intention

You don't want to use olive oil—it will likely develop mold like it does on homemade leather hand grips. Maybe mineral oil would work?
