Just picked up a Stilletto for $80! its in pretty good shape, a few scratches on the rear fender... this makes it chopper #4
not including cruisers.... Any mods done to them? problems? upgrades? Im thinking of putting a 24" upfront, tried one on there it'll fit and not hit the pedals but the big 1\2" front axle of the factory fork makes it hard may have to make some spacers for the axle.

You got a good deal! If it’s in good shape, and it looks like it is, between the disc brake and the forks you got yer moneys worth. I swapped the Giant 160mm cranks with Schwinn 170mm O.C.C. parts. When I first bought mine (it was used), the front chain was really tight and the only way to get enough adjustment in the bottom bracket was to swap both sprockets on the jack shaft with 18t. I agree with the front wheel swap . . . I tried a 24" from an O.C.C. an I liked it. I hope to re-lace the Giant hub into the Schwinn hoop. I think they’re both 48 holes, right?

Lol I was like "got outta that bar? Wth he talkin abou..... Oh I get it" lol.

Ya I got a set of nirve wheels off a switchblade with the 26" front I may run that or I got a couple 24's and kenda flames 24x3's. I also got my old factory forks off my ratfink and the head tube is exactly the same length so they'll swap right in but ill lose the front disc option on the giants fork.... I may also just make a set of bushings for the wheels 3/8 axle to fit the giant fork.

If yer not going to run a brake up front, there's nothin' wrong about the tabs going bye-bye, but what advantage/feature is there to the Rat Fink forks?

It uses a standard size axle instead of the honker 1/2 factory giant. But it would be sweet to run a disc out front also been thinkin of puttin some ape hangers on it too

Yeah i like it so far. It's different feeling then my other choppers you sit really low in it. I'm 6 ft and the seat could be a lip further back I may make a bracket to move it back the extra lil 2 inches before it hits the fender or make it use a normal seat post seat but it's the seat that helps make the bike :)
