Re: Tryin to post picture's ?

I must say I haven't worked on a bike for a while and just before Christmas I gave over 35 bikes away

Photobucket test

Just uploaded and posted this image I had on my desktop:
boardt10.jpg

Its been a couple of hours since your last post, so try it again.

sometimes- for no apparent reason- i'll have to do the 'control c, control v' thing instead of just right and left clicking with the mouse. weeks or months later- for no apparent reason- it works the other way again....(?!).

My pics that I posted were also gone, but still in my photobucket. I remember that I moved the pics to another folder so I might have broken the link. I edited my post with the new links and they are up again. hope that helps.

Go to Imagehost.org It's free and totally quicker than photobucket. Not all this image gallery nonsense.

A page pops up, you browse you images, click- it loads, grab the link

Done.

You may have to enter a squirelly word code.

The end of Photobucket.

A lot of local ISPs allow you a certain amount of web space for free or low-cost. For a long time the usual amount was 5 megabytes. They usually don't care what you put on it as long as it's not illegal.

All you need is Filezilla (free/open-source) to upload files; if you only want to show one pic at a time you can just upload the image itself--and there's nothing to block hot-linking.
(web browsers all have a FTP client in them now, but I think Filezilla is more clear in how it shows you what's going on)
If you want to show multiple images on your own web page, then you just need a text editor/notepad to make simple html pages.

Usually they have the FTP server set to block uploading everything but normal web pages or image files--but if its a local place and you ask, they may even allow other files such as zips and exe's.
