Anyone build a cruiser from a BMX frame?

A buddy of mine is giving me an old BMX style frame he has and I'm trying to figure out what I can do with it.

Thanks guys. Once i actually get the frame in my hands I'll post up some pics and start thinking about what I want to do. I'm thinking the frame is going to need some cutting and bending to make it look like a cruiser but it should be fun and a good practice.

actually, now that you mention it, i've thought about this alot lately myself. they seem cheap and readily available. i think there will be more than one of theese in the buildoff.

Add a bananaseat, low sissibar, bent springer fork,low dragbars, or MAYBE some apes, and I'll bet you're close to having one heck of a cool bike!
Just be carefull that it won't look cheap... I'd prefer metalic or flakes rather than flatblack as the framecolor.

I think I'm going to grab the frame this weekend and just use it to practice welding on tubes again. It's been a while.
