Anyone Given Anything Up For Lent?

I've given beer up for the second year running and again like last year begining to regret it already!! :lol: [It dos'nt count if you lapse on sundays mind like some folks!! 8) ]

i gave up lent for lent! I did it last year and I gave up meat and fish it was so difficult!

My wife and sons have given up meat...... and chocolate! We always go out on Easter Sunday, but that first beer when you get home tastes great lol!

Well less than 48hrs to go!! That was a long 46 days i can tell ya!! :lol: :lol: Been picking up 2 or 3 bottles every week and built up a nice collection......

:wink: Dont worry I'm not drinking them all at once!

I gave up religion for Lent one year and liked it so much I stuck with it.

Things I've given up in addition to religion:

*Cigarettes

*Whiskey

*Fast food

*Soda

*Processed sugar

((I still love a good beer from time to time though))

So far I've lost 15 lbs and look 10 years younger
