not certain, i thought the double top tube was found on rollfast bikes, but hawthornes have it too maybe others, the sprocket and pedals ive seen on a couple western flyers that ive had before tho. cant place the tank/guard/rack at the moment

there is a switch on the tank,,,and a spot for a light on the F-finder...bit no numbers found as of yet...LOOKING..

Maybe a '60s Sears brand? I think some JC Higgins models have similar frame geometry and the double top bars?

looks pretty darn close to me but

Starjet ... made by Chain Bike Co ... who made bikes for Rollfast and probably a couple others too, which means it could been a handful of brands.

I would probably try to ID the rack to get a better idea of what it was in its previous life. You could be runnin in circles over this one for a while :|

are you going to strip that frame or just ride it,,,I was thinking about sandblasting and a new paint job..whats the best way?

I spray bombed it black for now. Its really pitted...
