I was just notified by Arnold at S&M they got approval to do a limited run of Chrome and Flat black bars, if you want some you need to e-mail Arnold and get Dibs ASAP, there seems to be a fair amount of interest between here and BMX Museum.

Has there been any news on these? I haven't heard anything since 10-17...which I'm kind of okay with since I'm pre-Christmas broke...but, I don't want them to fall to the wayside, or forget me .

They released a limited run, they are on their website, looks like chrome is sold out, but still have a few flat black ones. You could email ARNOLD to see if they are going to do another run.
