There's one for sale locally and I'm intrigued. But I really wouldn't want to restore or put money into it but wonder it it's an ok buy (under $50).

It's sort of a folding bike (bike splits down the center via two bolts).

is it a tank? Worth money if it's a 1 speed?

I was thinking it'd be a great grocery getter/junk bike. But it's uphill a bit on the way back from the store.

Worksman makes or made a little folding bike that shows up every once in a while. They go for $50-$100 or so, not worth a lot, and I wouldn't think the Sears would be a lot different. The one in that picture looks pretty nice, though.

theyre interesting things, They are definatly tanks...
i didnt really ride it on account the chain was too short, and the rear wheel was dangling on the edge of the dropout...didnt feel like cleaning it so i sold it.

Lots of good ideas for its time, but...just didnt do it right

Dont think i would pay more than $30 for them though

thanks! I'll go ahead and pass on it then. It sounds like it'd need new tires too and I wouldn't want to add money to something I couldn't really use.
