Anyone know the year of this Rollfast???

I just bought this one off craigslist & was wondering how old it is.

Just getting back into bikes after a long time away from them.

I'm pretty stoked on this one.

There isn't any serial # info on them, but they introduced that twin tube frame in 58 or 59, and used that chainring into the mid 60s. Looks like it has a metal head badge which would put it on the earlier side. At some point in the 60s, they switched to a decal. ~Adam

I was thinking about hacking it up, but I'm kinda diggin' the patina'd original look, so all this one is getting is some new wheels & tires and whatever it needs to be road-worthy.

id guess 58' to early 60's. as we all know, hp snyder built bikes under their own name (rollfast) as well as sold the same bike under the hawthorne name. i think in the early 60's they switched to a slightly different, longer and straighter chainguard for rest of the 60's as well as switched up the chairing mid 60's as well. 59-62 is my guess. great bike and im diggin it as is. :mrgreen:
