Anything Happening San Antonio June11-12?

Hey RBBikers of San Antonio,

I'm going to be in town (for business) for about a week and a half. I'll have the weekend of June11-12 off (including Friday night). Do you know of any fun things going on?

I can't bring my bike down but I can always take pics.

How hot and/or rainy is it going to be?

Not sure but u can count on it being hottt...if u were here first Friday of June there are a lot of cruising in southtown. Great time to meet fellow bikers

I think I'm ready for some heat. The weather man said we(in MN) are going to be 15-20 degrees below normal for the next 6 weeks yet.

I saw that first friday ride in the events forum. That looks really fun. I will miss it though unfortuneately.

You can rent a bike here if you want. There are tons of places that have rental bikes.

June 11, usually 10 AM is the 2nd Saturday SALSA (Slow and Low San Antonio) ride. Just a mellow cruise around town, no one is out to prove anything. Here's the link to the FB page for information:

It looks like fun and my kind of site seeing-Slow And Low.
(well maybe not too Low on a rental )
I'll take a closer look around the website.
The food at Augies looks really good!
I'll be staying about 20 minutes away.

Is there any place that you would suggest to rent?
Alamo Bike rental on N. Flores looks close and has drop off and pickup
(I'm not sure what type of rental car I'll have)
Charles A James looks close too but not much info on rental

What do you think?
