Ape Bars on BMX Goose Neck???

So I just bought Vintage Skyway BMX and I tried to add Ape bars, but they did not fit the goose neck. Does anyone know what I need to do. Any help would be great...Thanks

I assume they don't fit because the ape hangers have the 1" bulge and your 4 bolt type goose neck is made for the straight 7/8" bars. Switch the goose neck or find apes that don't have the 1" bulge.
