No possible good reason for it to be a swing bike with that wheelbase.

It's cute, but offering it as a "simple" bicycle... it would need to be practical as well, and that is not.

Reminds me of this one (video is 2 years older) done with 36" wheels, but if you watch the video, the frame can bounce the tires touch... not good.

It isn't really simplifying the bicycle since they started out with 1:1 ratio. You're just tossing out every improvement in design. By those same principles you might put a 10 tooth chainring on the front of your bike and a 52 tooth sprocket on the rear.
