aquatread bicycle tires anyyone ever hear of them?

well as I was dismantling some of my lesser conditioned bicycles I pulled the tires off a huffy mountain bike that had a strong resemblance to the Goodyear aqua tread tires for cars( I think good year made them)
at first glance they looked like normal tires but then I looked at the center groove and lo an behold sho enuff there is a v shaped indentation on it and it gives them an appearance of aqua treads.
these tires are kind of cool and look cool on my Camaro ( picture soon) but they are a lil aged and should probably be replaced soon.
so this is where my question comes in
first off are these aqua tread tires? and secondly is there a company tat makes these tires I am very interested in them.
I think I saw similar tires on the Schwinn link mountain bikes Wal-Mart carries but I am unsure if they are the same.

any help where to buy these tires would be appreciated

Got any pics of your current aquatread-style tires? Is there any info printed on the sidewalls, as far as manufacturer goes?

I've seen some tires like you're taking about on a few store bought bikes. I had one for awhile but forget what it was called. Got it from Walmart.

EDIT: It was a NEXT Avalon. Mine had pinstripe tires.

yup those are almost exactly like mine only mine aren't as shiny I might have to get these.

ok as promised here is the tire picture sorry it took so long
they are duro brand and came from an earlier huffy 15 speed mountain bike. I think they are the 26x 2.00


they actually fit my Camaro quite well and look cool so that is why I want to get a new set eventually
