I'm calling this one done. I know it's not the most elaborate build in the contest, but It has become my favorite bike. It is based on a 1980 Schwinn Typhoon. This was the first bike I built a few years ago and it was ready for a complete overhaul.

It does look like a really fun bike to ride...those tires are really sweet looking.

The frame is Storm Gray made by Duplicolor with an enamel gloss clear coat. The forks are plain old black with a clear coat

These are the perfect tires for you! Just think how easy they would be to clean. One quick wipe and you are ready for the showroom :D
 
man thats a clean ride! looks right outta the showroom.

don't know what it is that makes this bike jump off the page, but ya nailed it!
 
I like it. The paint looks very smooth, like it was powdercoated.

You can't go wrong with a 1980 Typhoon. Do you still have the original forks?

and yes I do still have the original forks, but they are painted gray
