Are Spaceliner Frames Chrome.??

Are Spaceliner frames chrome plated or polished and clear coated? I have a clear coat over the silver finish so this is why I am asking. Thanks....Jaxon

They're chromed and then clear coated. Of course, by now the clear is all chipped up, and there are rust specks! And it's a real tough job getting that clear off! I did one with a brass wire wheel, and wore it out! There were also a couple of painted versions. -Adam

Socrates just used some of this stuff to get the clear coat off
