Just wondering if there is a chart that lists the dates/codes for newer Schwinns. Every chart that I have seen goes up to 1982. I have a CRUISER SS ,I figure it's a 90s maybe 2000s. The only number I find is on the bottom of the bottom bracket TM00601611. I am going to clean it up and sell it soon, and would like to be able to list the year. I know some older Schwinns had numbers on BB, but this is def. newer. Hex bolts at gooseneck ,safety stickers etc.Any help would be appreciated. :wink:

There is a #2030 on the headbadge itself. I seen this earlier but thought the ID numbers were posted on the steer tube itself and not the actual badge. OK ,so what does that num. mean,lol. Thx for the help
I think it means the bike was made the 203 day (Julian date) of a year that ends in zero, like 1990 or 2000. So it would be like July 22, 1990 or 2000 if my quick, in the head calculations are right.
Or, Tiki has a bike from the future!! :mrgreen:
