The last three Schwinn cruiser type bikes I have acquired had s-7 rims, or better said had one S-7 rim; the other wheel on each bike was a standard s-2 compatible rim. I know on the stingray they issued them from the factory with a 1 3/4 and 2.125, but did they do that with cruiser bikes as well?

in Bicycle Tire Land, decimals are not compatible with fractions.

Tell a bunch of math teachers that 1 3/4 does not equal 1.75, and watch them freak out. :D

Am I mistaken; or do 20x2.125 tires not fit on an S-7?

Well, I'm open to trading an otherwise functional 24" s-7 rear wheel for a similar 24" s-2 rear wheel. I don't like the idea of mixing S-2 and s-7 on the same bike.
