Arkansas River Rat Rod Trip?

Anybody in the Wichita area interested in a canoe/kayak trip down the Arkansas? I am looking at going Saturday the 26th. Dropping in at Mulvane and going to Udall (8 miles) or Oxford (18 miles). bicycleptic is already a tennitive with his kayak and I have one kayaker positive and 3 more maybes. It is a nice little trip with lots of beautiful scenery that most folks never see.

I did a kayak trip years ago from Derby down to Mulvane... I remember the river was pretty low and I probably could have just walked there faster since I was getting stuck on sandbars.

Right now the river is up due to all the rain, It will probably drop by next weekend, but at any rate, be careful out there.

The river is ready for a nice little float trip. My three posibles are now negitiver, my usual river partner might be flaking out on me, and I haven't heard either was from bicycleptic. Anybody wanna join me?

on a side note I do have a 14' aluminum v bottom that I use with an electric trolling motor, but I dunno... Its smoking hot out there

I'm still here. EVERYBODY flaked on me and I am not going to make the trip solo. Me and my girls took the canoe to the Udall city "lake" and floated around for a while.
