Went to look at an old car and told the person asked what else I was into. So they told me this was in an out building. I wiped the paint down with some soapy water. The headlight was missing but I had one with original paint on the base that looked like pretty good match. Check out the vintage water transfer decals! Guess I will find some better tires so it can be safely ridden. Not sure if I will clean the chrome/rust LOL!

Yes wheels are true. It looks like the bike was serviced in the early 1970's. The original rear S-2 wheel has a newer Bendix hub laced in.

The paint reminds of the Ed Roth kustom spray can colors of the early '60's.

I seldom find boy's bikes like this, almost always girl's bikes!

Unless you know of a "collector" I'd clean it up, even though, with the different rear hub :39: Schwinn chrome is supposed to be the best, let it shine. You have the right idea with mild soapy water for the rest, I'd be careful around them awesome decals.

Carl.
