Automotive Clear over Rattle Bomb

Title says it all. Is the paint compatible? Will the auto clear give me a more durible finish? I have several body shops near me that would shoot a frame at the same time they were doing a car. Thoughts?

I'd spray bomb the frame with the same brand clear as the paint that is on it to ensure compatability.

It might work, cant say for sure. More than likely need to try it by trial and error.

paint something as a test panel with the paint you want to use . The clear may be to "hot" and lift the paint .

I've done it a bunch of times and never had any problems.

I have used it over the oil based sign painters paints ( One Shot) with out any problem.
