The paint fade shadow on the head tube of my '38 Colson looks like it has the same shape as #40 or 41. 39 is similar, but looks like the corner cutouts are larger. That's part of why I think the bike was Firestone branded. I haven't found a badge for a price I'm willing to pay though...

Thats why you can't find a frame with a headbadge, because of guys like that.
They ought to beat him with a stick. :wink:
Should be like the tag on a mattress where its against federal law to remove them.
