Did some test fitting of the bed today and I like how it's going.

Is that Farmersville the same Farmersville near the Ind-Ill border?

Sorry, no…

I guess there’s one in almost every state, so I should’ve been more specific. It’s between Visalia and Exeter in central California.

I’ll be more specific when I tell you about going to Riverdale, ;)

Trike gets lights. Hoping for some good weather to get more done.

Starting work on the wood bed floor. Going to take my router over the edges to round over the edges then stain and polyurethane everything to make it nice.

The wagon makes a classy bed. Well thought out.
Thanks I've been wanting to build up a custom trike for years so this one is becoming my favorite over budget project.

Starting the bodywork on the trike. The gap between the seat tubes is getting filled in so I wrapped it up in masking tape and filled it with expanding foam. Once that's good and dry I'll spread some Bondo over it and smooth it all out then paint.

Ain't no thing. Merely curious. I left a broken 200 mph Z-car there on a cold winter day many years ago. (Uh, the one near Ill-Ind border.) Without mention of Calif., I would wonder if that Exeter was Penn or Ont., cause neither one is near a Visalia.
Is it just me, or is this getting surealistic?

Cool idea of foam to fill that void. Shades of Ed Roth. Likes that Radio Flyer, too. Drove the wheels of a fire truck pedal car when I was 4 1/2 - 5 years old. They match. Many questions about this project, but I don't want to hi-jack your thread.

Ask away.

The foam fill is just step one on the process...
I used to build lowrider bikes back in the day and when everyone else used to weld in steel and use thick Bondo to smooth it out I didn't have a welder so I created a method of using foam insulation in a can to fill most of the void then I shave it down and Bondo over that to smooth it out then prime and paint. Much lighter weight but does have less damage resistance. It is super easy to fix though just knock it out and foam it again.

Just to clear up the geography. Lol
