Greetings bike fans...just a quick snap of my latest purchase off ebay...a Kustom Kruiser Glide Deluxe...saddle has been upgraded since pic was taken ...more will follow...



Second hand Electra seat with orange stripe that LBS happened to have lying around...



Along with matching bell...



In the post...pair of orange BMX pedals and a length of orange brake cable outer...

Beauty. Did you drill out the steering tube in order to mount the front brake?

No, it came like that...it has to be done to comply with the UK legal requirement that a bike has two independent braking systems. The hole also was used to mount the mudguard (Fender) that I took off, so I suspect that the hole would be present even on bikes made for the US market (?)

PS. Now fitted with orange brake cable...OK it's not that radical but I am sure that fellow detail freaks will understand my enthusiasm...
