Hey guys. I'm trying to find a seat/bar combo for my 26" cruiser bike. I've done alot of searching around and I think I've ironed out all my confusion, but I would like to post up here to confirm everything.

See, I'm going for this look:

See how the seat sits as low as possible and the bend in the sissybar is flush with the back of the seat?

Now these are the parts in question. A 26" banana seat with a 21" bar.

Do you guys think this would work out?

I recently put a 16" seat and 20" bar on my son's 20" bike and that was a good fit. I'm contemplating putting a similar setup on my 26" cruiser, but using both a longer (26") seat and a longer bar. With a bar only 20" long the seat would have to be so low that it would be as close to the rear tire as the bike in your second picture, with no room to raise it higher.

I bought my son's seat and bar from http://www.bicycledesigner.com. My only complaint with them was the lack of secure (https) ordering method. They have a 36" bar. You can always cut that 36" bar shorter if desired, but you can't cut the 20" one any longer. ;)
