that or lace a 9 tooth hub up to the wright size rim. 25 / 9 is the same gear feel as 44 /16 , 28 is closer 45/16 . very cruise-able gear combo.
I really want to keep my Nexus 4 speed on there from what I'm seeing that sprocket is pure unobtainium so it doesn't matter either way. Can't find one anywhere in stock let alone in the size or color I need

I'd settle for any color one at this point in any tooth count. Just can't find one. Every site I see is out of stock or it's some overseas site that looks sketchy.

anything remotely close to "Unobtainium" should be kept very secret, things like that are like hens teeth!

I could cut a custom sprocket out of stainless steel for you if you want ;)
That would be awesome! What would you charge to do the job?

I charge 15$ for design, shipping should end up around 15 or 20$ for a small sprocket. Manufacturing cost should be around 40$ for a small piece like that.
Here are some sprockets I've made a few month ago for @Greg and Sammy . Made of stainless steel, so they won't ever rust and the material is really strong. Can be polished to mirror finish, painted or ridden as they are. You can even experiment with heating them up and getting a rainbow finish on them. I can paint or polish them for you too if you want, but for a bit of extra cost :)

Awesome thanks for the info. I think I'm gonna go for one of the black ones from the link slow-rider posted then paint it gold and sand the face of it back to bare aluminum and do that. I kinda like the 2 dimensional look of it and I may at a later date have you custom make me an inner chainring to match the design of the bandit sprocket but match the tooth count of what's on there so my gearing doesn't change but the chain guard will hide the higher tooth count. This bike is becoming an expensive money pit and I love it.

$4 sticker came in today
Wait for it

Decided I don't like the seat that I robbed from my Schwinn Thrasher with lay back post so I ordered more new stuff. I like the look of this seat with the rivets on the back.

And then I found this braced seat post

Then I decided let's buy some cheap bling just for fun

would be a good place for this sticker
s-l1600.png

Size 4" wide color Gold
Price:
US $2.65 on eBay
If they had a seat with it embroidered that would be awesome but a sticker would never last through a ride. I do have another seat that has a removable insert made to be reupholstered that I'm gonna see what the local shop would charge to embroider a piece of scrap leather or vinyl and upholster the seat as well as trim the pad down on the handlebars. For now this seat will work.

However if I used some vinyl and fabric paint, started with a gold seat, put the decal on, then paint the seat black and peel the decal... 🤔

yup use the decal as masking tape / stencil then paint the black seat gold. paint the buttons black. clear coat the seat. pull off stencil call it done .

I think I'm just gonna go with the plain black seat. They don't make a vinyl and fabric paint in gold and gold seats are hard to find. Besides I think it will look better with the less is more approach.
