bar tape

i am after some red bar tape for my first project, what is the best kind of tape to get? i have just realised there are heaps of differant types. thanks for any help!

are you after padded tape, with some cushion, or just the old school cello-tape, you know, thin plastic textured tape? If the latter, pm with your address and and I'll send you some, with red bar end plugs, brand new in the package for free. I'll never use it.
