My buddy showed me this scooter yesterday. It was given to him years ago by his old neighbors who purchase it new from George Barris's shop!

Those are cool little mini bikes. I'm thinking George was into a little bit of anything that could make some money! I have been looking for mini bikes locally and never find to many older ones, Mod Scene is the one with that groovy "Mod Top" Mopar seat design.

That's a piece of history ....Do NOT modify it. Properly cleaned up it would bring serious dough at a place like the Scottsdale auctions......Do what you can to authenticate the Barris story......get documentation, sworn statements, whatever it takes..

EDIT, sorry, thought it was your bike.. Hopefully your neighbor is doing the above..
