Boise has a huge Basque population and my twin brother married into it. He just completed this bike for a live auction to benefit the local Basque foundation. He started with a Huffy Cranbrook from CL. This is his first redo of a bike after me harrassing him for years. It ended up going for $600.

Beautifully done!
Not to change the subject but do they have any of the Basque strength contests at festivals or a team of athlete's for the games? When I was interested in the strongman comps and the Scottish Heavy events, the Basque people where known for their strength, especially with the heavy stones. Just curious, sorry for the interruption.

Very cool. I was expecting a bota bag on it somewhere, though!
I will tell him. It came with a box of wine called"Bota Box"

Chainy,

They do have strength events. This summer is Jaildi- an International Basque festival held every 5 years here in Boise. Here is a description of some of the upcoming events. "Three weight lifters from Euskal Herria will be lifting cylinders weighing 250-400 pounds and balls weighing 250 pounds. Three wood choppers from the region will compete against each other, and 20 farm sports competitors will participate in feats of strength such as throwing bales of hay, lifting wagons and carrying milk cans."
