Bearing Cups...

A fellow member suggested this.. Where can I buy NEW bearing cups for my Higgins frame..?..

My LBS sells a replacement kit. Cups, bearings, cones, and the nuts and washers for a complete rebuild (minus crank shaft and chain ring) all for a whopping seven bucks!

Better measure your old ones, with old bikes there is no telling what size it is.

For what it's worth. My 50's Rollfast, and my wife's '55 Columbia Built were the same. That's not to say that they are ALL the same...clearly they are not.

As a testimony to the power of the internet...Gene K...who sold me the frames...saw my post...and called me to say he has all the missing parts..and will send them along..Guess I have to thank Al Gore for inventing it !!..j.
