Help Support Rat Rod Bikes Bicycle Forum:
Me and Mike will be leaving Sacto Saturday morning around 9:00 or so. I'm planning on going 5 south and cut over the 205/580 though Tracy and the Altamont Pass to San Jose. Anyone who wants to caravan down meet us at Vintage Bicycle Supply. I'll be pullin the big black trailer so don't be in a hurry. This show is not to be missed. See ya there.
I'll be wearing my new mongoose racing jersey or a rat rod bike shirt
I'll also be hanging out with dave aka krate-mayhem & the stingrays, if you see me say hi! I doubt there will be two 13 year olds with red hair and wearing a mongoose jersey :lol: :lol:

Got my bikes loaded, all ready too go! The car (a Honda CRV) looks like a bike tank, i have a turtle on top, 3 bikes on the rack, and 3 more inside the car 8) Gonna take some pics!! Can't wait!
GREAT DAY!! I coudnt stay as long as wanted to , but it was still very Kool!! Bad Bikes everywhere!! ran into some old friends, met some new ones.... thanks to the guys from pops fab for all the info about your bikes and the phil wood hubs .. I'll be callin on you guys soon.. thanks to vintage bike supply for the fork , I ve been wanting one for a while now.. even your " loss prevention" guys were Kool! weekend fun, it was good to meet you , great collection you have, the jersey was killer too...if you showed a bike today ,, MUCH RESPECT TO YOU ALL !! and A SPECIAL AWARD Should go to the Lady at the gate.! she had the tough job of tellin all of US early birds we couldnt go in till 11:00 !!! kinda like keepin the kids away from the toys till Christmas Morning hahahaha! even when things got heated at the gate she kept her KOOL!! I dont know her name but SHE ROCKS!!!
It was AWESOME! NIce meeting you Rodney and Kuttnhack, and cool to see all the clubs! What a great day!

I ended up not getting there until around 2:30 due to service repair calls, but it was a great show at an incredible venue.
Ray (kuttnhack) ended up making a killing in the awards also. And Tucker's spaceliner in the build off is a beautiful bike. Very nice job on that one.
I thing everyone liked bike number 174 as it took 3 awards home. Best custom cruiser (I think) along with club picks for Mob Kruzers AND Pedal Grinders.
Ray (kuttnhack) ended up making a killing in the awards also. And Tucker's spaceliner in the build off is a beautiful bike. Very nice job on that one.
I thing everyone liked bike number 174 as it took 3 awards home. Best custom cruiser (I think) along with club picks for Mob Kruzers AND Pedal Grinders.

Best bicycle show I have ever attended. Saturday afternoon with a little pre show ride around San Jose hosted by The Others BC. Thanks for the tour of your city. We rode about six or so miles with plenty of liquid stops. San Jose is COOL and a great place to ride.
This was a nice Western Style bar and grill that opened up their side gates and let us park our bikes inside. Awesome burgers and great service, kudos.
This was the best Mimoon sign I ever saw.
This was the start of the saturday ride.
We just happen to find this rat chained up in front of a bar. I went inside to find out who owned it and it was one of the bar tenders. Very Cool!
Got a few photos of the ride and Behind Bars Shiny Side Up Show. I was a little busy at the awards so I hope someone posts that part. The trophy's were well done and the winners all had earned those trophy's.
Hats off to Behind Bars and The Others. It was an awesome weekend spent with you guys.
I was told History Park donated the park for this show so and huge thanks to them and when in San Jose check it out and support History Park.
