Bending Brake Mount Bolt.

Upgraded my brake shoes to some Kool
Stop Supra 2's. They are very grippy, I
can now easily skid the tires.

The extra braking power is so good that
the attachment bolt is being bent from
the extra forces.

The slot in the Tektro Dual Pivot brakes
that I installed is long enough that I
was able to install some brake shoes
backwards. These shoes take the braking
forces and transfer them to the seat
stays. Bending bolt problem solved.

Many folks run an extra thick and oversized circumference washer to distribute the load on the brake bridge as well as double nutting
