Bent fender braces

Anyone have a tried-and-true method for straightening bent or warped fender braces? I seem to only make them worse... :|

if you go really slow and put it in a vise gently bending it i have personally been able to get them much straighter.

Thanks Karfer. I started to do that once before and ran out of patience. I'll take another crack at it. My problem was trying not to flatten them in the process...

That's what I usually do, but I've come across some that have funky bends in them (Columbia) that are supposed to be there. Guess it's time to learn!
