What's the best, new, non-Brooks (not sure if they even sell one anymore) Hairpin seat?

I've seen the Rideable Replicas version , but have read they tend to not hold up too well.

Thanks!

Most of the modern hairpin saddles I've seen are fairly low quality. Lepper does, (or did) make a nice hairpin style saddle. That might be worth looking into.

I don't know if they still make them but Wright's made some great saddles. Every bit as good as Brooks in my opinion. I had one last year.
A little history of the two(Brooks bought Wrights many moons ago). http://blog.brooksengland.com/wps/wrights-saddles/

There are not many options for leather hairpin saddles. Rideable Replica, Leppner or Brooks. The Brooks and Leppner will probably cost the same. Best to look for used on Ebay and such. If you are not looking for hairpin, there are some other options.

http://www.crowcycleco.com/ lots of highly sprung saddles.

I have a Wrights on my Dyno. The company was swallowed by Brooks and quite a few Brooks saddles are in fact Wrights designs.

I think the best saddle like a Brooks is a Brooks. I have 4 custom cruiser bikes, I have a Brooks saddle on 3 out of the 4. The only reason the 4th custom hasn't got a Brooks is because its design called for a banana seat. Brooks are expensive, tough on the butt until broken in, once you have a seasoned Brooks there's nothing like it!
