Found a use for scraps of chain. Bent up some heavy chrome wire for the belt loop and used a stainless steel nail for the hook part. I actually used a new Invicta chain (black) and a KMC Gold for the middle links that used to be on my Goldmember bicycle, I guess that's still recycling. Still need to do a quick wire brushing detail to get the spatter but I'm pretty satisfied with the results

Little projects like this make me want a TIG welder, not the prettiest welding but good enough for Yankee Swap tomorrow!

I like bikes.
I like buckles.
And now you, my friend, have slammed the two together. True Genius. If I was a Yankee at a certain swap meet, I'd barter you outta one of those beauties.

Well the buckle was a moderat success, it ended up back in my hands through a swap, then I passed it on to my wife's cousin. Rides his bike everywhere in NY.

I'm planning on making more, somehow, in my free time.

Here's the other 5 I made, having a little issue with the links spreading on the non belt end, i think I'll make up a wood block or something to hold them together while welding. Other than that, they work great.
