An elderly neighbor of mine who has given me bikes in the past stopped by to give me a business card from a friend of his who has been fixing and selling bikes since the fifties. I called the number and was told that I could have whatever he had left because he had so many things wrong with him that he could no longer ride.
Visions of big 'ol cruisers and early road bikes danced in my head. Once there he told me that he scrapped out over 150 bikes because nobody wanted them. This was all that he had left, a motley pile of stuff that will head for CL once it's all been gone through. Enjoy what you do while you can.
