Thanks for the input! Both companies stated look similar. I haven't found one exactly like his doing a google search yet. The graphic on the front fender is throwing me off.

Clamp on seat tube, fork, truss rods, handlebars, stem all look CWC not Colson to me. Also, can't really see it, but the CG looks CWC. Badge to me looks like the Hawthorne H. Chainring looks like Hawthorne too; go to the original large pic and it is clear. Still betting $1 on CWC Hawthorne :thumbsup:

Thank you for the pic, The Black Monark! That looks like it.

Grandpa was a cool dude back in the day. He is in hospice right now but hanging on. The nurses love him! I can't confirm it was this bike but he said he and his buddies would jump their bicycles off of a ski jump! Go grandpa!

FWIW - That fork is uncharacteristic of Colson... the seat stays don't look like the right profile for a Colson... the arch shape of the top tubes doesn't look like Colson to me.
