bike plates what are they worth I have a bunch of 1953's from difernt states just wondering thank

What a coincidence! My best bike is a 53 model. I'll be interested in one of them if you can part with one. What states do you have? Can you post a pic of them?

Any particular bike parts you need? I might have something laying around that'll work for a trade.

As for what they would fetch moneywise, I've never seen them for sale.

Crassly said they came in boxes of Wheaties. I had several a while back and sold them for $6 a piece . They will all be 1953 or 1954 :lol:

I found a 1972 bike plate in the dumpster a few weeks back. That thing was just dirty but was in awesome shape. 8)

as mentioned the long ones that look more like car plates were given out in cerial and are cool but not as valuable as the smaller plates those are actual bicycle plates that cities gave out when you registered your bicycle. in sacto here they go for at least 20 a peice with the older 40's plates going for more.

Thanks guys i was just checking I'm not selling them anyways I was just seeing what they go for and finding out where they came from is cool too. The little ones are from sanger CA I picked them up at an antque stor in CA
