we are going to tybee island,near savannah-georgia, in october and was wondering if anyone knew about the bike scene there? just was curious if it was a very bike freindly town with many bike routes etc.

I went to tybee last summer, its just amazing! The bike scene in Sav. is atleast cool to look at, alot of art school kids an all. I didnt have my bike with me so I didnt pay a whole lot of attention, but I know the island is great for cruisers and the beach is fun to ride on, I dont think you can ride on all of them though. I know I would have loved to have my bike with me because you dont have to drive any where on the island, everything is so close! Sorry, not very helpful...but Im sure you will have tons of fun on your bike there though!
wow i was JUST about to make a post about it. Savannah is full of cruisers this year. A lot of them are SCAD students who bought some, but I seem them everywhere. When in Oct are you coming in? I'm down here for school and I'd love to meet up.
