Bike Seat Identification Requested

I was wondering if any one can ID this bike seat?

It came in on a 20's Elgin. As far as I know, it is not correct for that Elgin. It has no stamps or manufacturers marks that I can find. Dimensions are: 11" x 8" x5" (LxWxH).

My best guess: 20's-30's racing saddle? My reasoning: It is fairly light and narrow. Especially relative to other vintage saddles I have encountered. I could easily be wrong. It does not look like an adolescent seat. At least none that I have seen.

I have looked around the web, but haven't seen anything close. Especially with the bowed frame. Any help would be appreciated.

The shape looks similar to some 40's Lobdell seats I've seen, though the crossbar between the springs looks like Mesinger. That's a head scratcher... ~Adam

I hadn't even looked at old Lobdell. I'll give it a shot! I know this isn't anything amazing, but I would like to know what it is.
