Never heard of it, but I can tell you that Joe sells his bikes for top $$$ and they aren't all worth it. :(

I did check out the Larz Andersen website and it is listed there as a lawn event. Looks pretty cool. I may put a few in the van and take a trip up since it is not that far.

I recently heard about this show too. I guess a few years ago it was a big event, but it has fallen over the years. I will go...not too far for me either.

if you haven't been to the Larz Museum, you must. I rented a convertible Mustang to take Beth there last summer and we had a great time. We just went to see the permanent display autos. I think the bicycle swap was the following day.

some pictures of the museum:

the museum used to be the carriage house of Larz's mansion. Imagine how nice the mansion must have been? (it burnt down)

I might be talked into going. Nice park and surrounding area to ride.

I am going. Packing the HHR now. I went 2 years ago.

A few years ago, as the rumors have it, the swap was stopped because the dealers did not pick up after themselves. They stripped the parts they needed off their new found bicycles and left the rest for the Lars Anderson grounds keeper and neighbors to pick up. There was a lot of trash. So, I think if we do go we should pick up our own trash. Take it home and throw it in our own trash or rat rod it.

I was there. So was KZ1000, bankerat, yeshoney, ifit'sfreeit'sforme, no cars on mars, and probably a few others I didn't see. Pretty good sized show too! I didn't take any pictures, but just you all wait till you see what I bought. The coolest half-done rat/clunker ever with a history you won't believe!

Here are a few pics from the show today in Brookline MA. As always, great seeing the usual group of New Englanders there! Enjoy!

I made enough money to buy more bicycles, but my girlfriend has a rule when I go to a show I have to sell 2 bicycles there at a show to bring another one home. I sold a lot of parts but did not sell any whole bicycles. So no new bicycles went home with me.

some more gems at the show...
